Marlene was introduced to the Real Estate industry by her recently deceased husband, Jack Hunter. Together they owned Ebbert's Heritage GMAC Real Estate. Marlene has a strong background in marketing, having previously worked as Director of Sales and Marketing for a nationwide hospitality management company. Jack took Marlene under his wing, working with her to teach her the industry. Although his death was sudden, Jack had taught her the skills she needed to run the company and continue to strive for the professional service to customers that was so important to Jack. Marlene genuinely enjoys working with people. She likes the challenges associated with the Real Estate business and the continual changes. She is currently a member of the Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau, Kiwanis, Lompoc Valley Women in Chambers of Commerce and California Women in Chambers of Commerce. Marlene is proud to have served 6 years on our local Board of Realtors. She has held the office of President and was selected as Realtor of the Year for 1999 and was honored again as 1999 California Woman of the Year. Marlene does have diversions though, a Shitzu named Mr. Ebberts, two children, four stepchildren and six absolutely perfect grandgirls!
